1976-1987 -Piano Instruction, U.K. and Canada. In Northern Ireland, I studied 2 yrs. privately with Dr. Robert Englund, a fellows from Oxford. In Toronto, I studied 3 of those years privately with Stella Ng, who is a concert pianist with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. I have a Grade 8 Royal Conservatory of Music Certificate and Grade 2 Rudiments of Music Theory as well as Grade 3 Harmony and Music History. For Theory I studied the Barbara Wharham technique and for History; Joseph Machlis' "The Enjoyment of Music".
1976-1979 -Cello instruction, U.K. (A.Piati).
1981-1987 -French Horn instruction and concert band technique, KRTCS, Jon Stewart(Mayfield Secondary School of the Arts).
1983-1987 -Trumpet instruction and jazz technique with Robert Kinnear, also Vocal Instruction with Joan Mee and David Gast at Bramalea Baptist Church, (Gospel).
